Clr. Max Parker will be putting forward a Notice of Motion of in the coming weeks to call for Bankstown City Council to support the Paralympics as the People's Olympics.
"The Paralympics need people support, not dollars, to make it a successful and rewarding games for the athletes and their families." Clr. Parkler said.
The tickets for children are $8, and for adults $15. This entitles you to all events at Olympic complex on that day, or any other program. Travel is included. Pensioner concessions are also available.
"This represents great family value to our local residents - as opposed to the elite, tickets for the rich Olympics."
Clr. Parker proposes that Bankstown City Council leads the way and purchases a minimum of 1000 tickets (which includes an extra 100 tickets bonus) to be given to people that want to support our Australian athletes."
