Young people in the South of Bankstown could soon be enjoying a skateboard and bike amenity, if Clr. Max Parker is successful in gaining the support of fellow Councillors.
"There is a need in the south of Bankstown for such a facility for our young people, without having to travel many kilometres out of the area. This would help to reduce the incidents of skateboarding in shopping centres and bikes flying down the middle of footpaths."
"Other areas of Sydney such as Menai, Sutherland and Hurstville have similar facilities as proposed here. It's about time our youth had access to this amenity themselves."
