COUNCILLOR ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCES, STUDY
TOURS, ETC. 1. That a report be requested from the General Manager regarding
overseas and domestic trips by Councillors and Senior Officers paid
for by Bankstown City Council from September 1995 to 31 March
2002 which tables the following:

RESOLVED that a report be prepared on the costs of Minutes and
Business Papers of Council being copied in electronic format, to
Australian Standards, by means in which the document can be
accessed by downloading from the Bankstown City Council Internet
site.
RESOLVED that a Development Application lodged in respect of No
52 Restwell Street be referred to the Heritage Committee for
consideration of heritage value.
That Council set up a bi-monthly Auditing Committee on Development
Applications, so that random DA numbers from the previous two
months could be drawn from a hat. The DA’s could then be examined
so that the committee can audit the processes occurring under
delegated authority.
That reports made by ESD presented on the Business Papers be
followed as such : ESD (Author/Author(s).
RESOLVED that Council display a copy of the Local Government Act
(1993) and a checklist of documents customers/ratepayers are entitled
to inspect relating to Development Applications.
That a report be prepared to Council detailing all money received for
works to be carried out at Yeramba Lagoon, Picnic Point. The report
should state the individual contributions from each party, ie State
Government. It should also detail all money that has been spent on
Yeramba Lagoon.
That Council accept public liability insurance cover of $5, 000, 000 from the Bankstown Campsie Giants Police Rugby League Club
for football training on Mondays and a football game each Wednesday at Neptune Park for the 2002 season and the insurance cover be reviewed to $10, 000, 000 in 2003.
