Hot Spots
Hot Spots objective is to highlight the neglected and forgotten parts of our neighbourhood. For many years the seats of East Hills and Banks have been held by the ALP. The seats are classified as "safe" - thereby you have the ALP taking this for granted and the Liberal Party not being too concerned, believing they will never win. The result is much neglect. I will be highlighting this here. In addition I will list the "generic" subject areas, ie if you had trouble with an Income Tax problem, I will suggest the Federal Member.
State Government
- Padstow, Revesby and Panania need covered walkways.
- More fast trains through to Revesby and Panania to help ease parking pressure at Padstow.
- Alfords Point bridge urgently needs second stage completed.
- Georges River State National Park
- Georges River Boating, Fishing, Pollution
- Public Housing Problems
- Public Hospitals
- Downgrading of Revesby Police Station to two Police on duty
- No patrols stationed at Revesby, for quick response
- Fire brigade at Revesby having water tanker removed
- East Hills district needs quick response ambulance stationed in area
- Local school problems - lack of casual teachers, unstaffed classes
